What is special about the Houyoux cannula?

Dr. Houyoux has carried out extensive research to perfect his liposculpture technique, particularly in the long-term treatment of cellulite.

This is how, at the end of 2014, the Houyoux cannula was born: it is a thin cannula of 2.5 mm in diameter, with 6 holes of 1 mm in diameter and animated by the movement of the Evamatic® ( NIL ® technique).

This cannula allows you to move into the area responsible for orange peel skin and therefore work with extreme precision in the last millimeters of the fatty layer.

–> As we can see in this video, the flow rate during suction is exceptional even if the holes are very small (1 mm).

In what cases is the Houyoux cannula used? How does it work?

The Houyoux cannula used with the NIL® technique can be used in the final phase of any liposculpture, regardless of the area, and also allows the areas to be treated to be enlarged.

–> It respects the entire connective tissue and vessels extremely well, which allows for natural retraction of the skin.

–> This is completed by the stimulation of collagen production, when the cannula vibrates, without suction, just in contact with the dermis, preserving the last millimeters of superficial fat cells essential to the quality of the skin. The intense vibration of the Houyoux cannula at the level of the cellulite areas, allows to break the fibrous lodges responsible for the cellulite appearance. A slight suction, insufficient to aspirate the fat cells, allows to increase the mechanical impact of the vibrations on the fibrous lodges.

The thinner the cannula, the greater the nutation movement…

The nutation movement allows a dissociation of the adipocytes and their aspiration through HOLES OF 1 MILLIMETER IN DIAMETER:

–> Physics explains very well why a 1 mm hole sucks much stronger than a 3 mm hole and even much stronger than a 6 mm hole! This physical phenomenon associated with the facilitated nutation of the Houyoux cannula and the easier penetration in the fibrous zone also explains why the Houyoux cannula is unbeatable in Asian fat or in particularly fibrous areas such as the periumbilical, supratrochanteric zone, for example, or even the chest in men.

For all these reasons and for his practically zero aggressiveness, Dr. Houyoux only uses his cannula for any non-obese patient, from the beginning to the end of the procedure. The results are incomparable. In overweight patients, Dr. Houyoux systematically uses his cannula in the last two centimeters of his work.
